Americans will always love their mothers, but it appears they won't be shelling out quite as much to celebrate them in 2018 as they did last year. Spending for Mother's Dayis forecast to drop to $23.1 billion from $23.6 billion in 2017, according to a survey of 7,520 consumers from the National Retail Federation (NRF) and Prosper Insights & Analytics.
